11:48 am: Communities
Bad habit I have: joining thousands of Internet communities and then not doing anything with it. See orkut.com, myspace.com, tribe.net, and then mywallop.com and friendster.com, for which it seems impossible to link directly to my page.

Now I tried consumating.com, some new dating communitiy with a "folksonomy", that is, the kind of social labeling system that is used on del.icio.us (for links), flickr.com (for photos) and upcoming.org (for events). Their catch phrase is "Hot nerdy girls and indie rock boys! With glasses!". It's sort of fun in a killing time sense, but it sucks that you have to pay to contact people. Really sucks.

But ALL of these communities suck. In some way. For me at least. Everybody else seem to be making friends. I just make profiles and write some stupid shit and then I get bored.

Today I was whining on my blog about all the shit I have to do currently. I've been doing quite some IRL whining of that type recently too. Well, what have I been doing tonight? Playing with MSN Messenger 7.0.
